Northern Power Women is a charity celebrating female excellence in business. Every year, they host an awards show attended by nominees to announce their winners in-person. This is no small feat: with multiple categories, judging panels and sponsors, this is a huge operation. Such a mass-scale event requires a massive brochure: a task that fell to me.

For this 48-page behemoth, I worked closely with the client to ensure every nominee on their spreadsheet was sifted into their allocated category. An over-arching template was created before being populated, with spare pages filled by sponsors and adverts for Northern Power Women's podcast and other endevours.

We went with their brand colours (navy and gold) paired with imagery of electric, neon abstractions vibrating with energy, lighting up the pages like NPW illuminates the achievements of female talent. This job required precision for the breadth of information that had to be input and working closely with the client to make sure the document reflected their ethos. The final outcome felt like an award in itself: but the real winners are the powerful, northern women the client stands for.
